Objectives
The Government of Pakistan’s New Energy Vehicles (NEV) Policy 2025-30, launched in July 2025, aims to reduce vehicular emissions, improve air quality, utilize excess electricity production, and decrease oil imports.
The policy also encourages development of a competitive local NEV industry, technology transfer, green job creation, and coordinated federal-province collaboration for sustainable transportation.
